[ARCHIVED] BUTTE-SILVER BOW PUBLIC WORKS’ UPDATES

Roads:
• Platinum to Front, from Main to Shields – sweeping;
• Dewey, from Harrison to Rowe, headed north - sweeping;
• The area around St. Anne’s Church – sweeping;
• Lower West Side around the Health Department;
• Main, Granite and Washington – Street Painting
• Emerson School area – repainting of crosswalks;
• West Elementary School area and up and down Excelsior street – repainting of crosswalks; and
• Continued pot hole filling and crack sealing
Water Utilities:
• Meadow Brook Drive – pipe replacement work – road will be open with traffic control measures;
• Intersection and general area of Wynne and Water Line Road – New Southside Pump Station work – Section of road closed to traffic
Metro Sewer:
• Aluminum Street from Washington to Main Street – Sewer replacement, road closed;
• Steel Street – Sewer Installation, road closed except to local traffic from Ophir to Mining Museum Road;
• Granite and Main Street Extension – Please expect the following closures for the next two to three weeks:
- The Intersection of Granite and Ophir;
- The Intersection of Park Street and Mining Museum Road;
- Montana Tech Road and Mining Museum Road; and
- The North Entrance to Montana Tech’s Natural Resources Building
NorthWestern Energy:
• Start the old natural gas service line retirements in the alley south of Caledonia Street, between Henry Street and Excelsior Avenue;
• Complete the new natural gas service line tie-overs and begin the service line retirements in the alley south of Caledonia Street, between Excelsior Avenue and Alabama Street;
• Complete the retirements of old natural gas service lines and main in the alley south of Woolman Street, between Henry Street and Excelsior Avenue;
• Start the new natural gas service line tie-overs in the alley south of Antimony Street, between Henry Street, and Excelsior Avenue;
• Continue the installation of new natural gas main in the alley south of Antimony Street, between Emmet and Henry Streets; and
• Complete the installation of new natural gas service lines, and begin natural gas service tie-overs in Quartz Street, between Alabama and Crystal Streets, these streets will remain closed this week
