Butte’s Copper Mountain Driving Range is now open from 8:00 a.m. to dusk seven days a week. The driving range is located at the Copper Mountain Sports and Recreation Complex on Beef Trail Road.
Copper Mountain was created as part of Superfund reclamation in Butte. Thousands of tons of mining waste rock and mill tailings at the park’s present location were reclaimed in 1999 to remove threats to human health and the environment, and the park is now a multi-use complex.
Copper Mountain is managed by the Butte-Silver Bow Parks and Recreation Department. Questions should be directed to the Parks Department at 406-497-6408.
