BSB Parking will be placing a copy of the County Ordinance10.52.070 on as many campers, utility trailers and motorhomes as possible over the next couple of weeks in order to make sure that folks are aware of the laws and what their responsibilities are as trailer/motorhome owners.
Copies of the Ordinances can also be obtained at the BSB Parking office, Rm #113 in the Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse.
BSB Parking will be making every effort to enforce the Ordinances to ensure that our streets are safe.
BE A RESPONSIBLE TRAILER/RV OWNER!
PLACE YOUR TRAILER/RV IN STORAGE OR ON PRIVATE PROPERTY WHEN NOT IN USE.
- County Ordinance #10.52.070 – Allows your RV or Trailer to be parked on the street or boulevard for a maximum of 2 days (in a 7 day period) for loading and unloading.
The fine for this violation is $50.00 for the first offense and $100.00 for each offense thereafter.
Trailers and RV’s continue to get larger and block the line of sight for motorists and are a safety hazard for children in the area. Your home is in a RESIDENTIAL area. The biggest complaint we receive from neighbors is they do not want to feel as if they are live in an RV park. Please be courteous and respectful to your neighbors and “Thank You” for helping us keep our neighborhoods safe and slightly!
If you have any questions about this ordinance, please call 497-6272.
