[ARCHIVED] 4th Annual Walk-A-Dog Program Beginis

The Butte Silver-Bow Animal Services Department is seeking volunteers to participate in the 4th Annual Walk-a-Dog Program. Volunteers are encouraged to join in the effort to get shelter dogs out for long walks in the fresh air. Not only is walking great for the dogs, but it’s a good form of exercise for people of all ages. It has also been shown that helping at an animal shelter, reduces stress, increases happiness and makes you feel appreciated. You will get the joy of doing something great for the community while enriching the lives of shelter dogs and your own. All ages are welcome, however any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The program runs daily between 9am and 11am. If you are interested please call the Chelsea Bailey Butte Silver Bow Animal Shelter at 406-497-6528 or stop by between 1:00pm-4:00pm Tuesday through Saturday to get signed up.
