[ARCHIVED] Animal Shelter launches summer Walk-a-Dog program

Join the Butte Animal Shelter's summer Walk-a-Dog program

The Butte Silver-Bow Animal Services Department is currently seeking volunteers for the summer Walk-a-Dog Program at the Chelsea Bailey Animal Shelter, 699 Centennial Ave.

Interested volunteers can visit the shelter from May 13 through October 1 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. seven days a week to enrich the lives of shelter dogs and join in the effort to get shelter dogs out for long walks in the fresh air.

Not only is walking great for the dogs, but it is also good exercise for people of all ages. Studies have also indicated that helping at an animal shelter reduces stress, increases happiness and makes you feel appreciated.

Contribute to the Butte community and enrich the life of a wonderful animal while doing something good for yourself! Interested volunteers should call the Chelsea Bailey Animal Shelter at 406-497-6528.
