Join Butte-Silver Bow Parks and Recreation and the Butte Mutual Aid Network for a Friday afternoon clean up at Father Sheehan Park in Butte, Montana. Volunteers will work to clean up debris and trash throughout the park as well as the trail system nearby. All community members are welcome to come!
What to bring: Please dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes. Bring rakes and gloves if you have them. Garbage bags and gloves will be provided for those who need them.
About the Park: Father Sheehan Park received the 2020 DNRC Program Development Grant to help revitalize the park. There were 22 dead and dying Cottonwood trees that were removed in the fall. New trees will be planted this spring to take their place. Join us to learn more about our parks and to speak with our county arborist.
