The purpose of the hearing is to obtaining public comments regarding a proposed application to the Montana Department of Commerce’s Community Development Block Grant Program for a COVID Response (CV) projects. Two projects have been identified for the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow. These projects include construction of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) for the most vulnerable population in our community that have been displaced related to the COVID-19 Pandemic, and facility upgrades to the Butte Rescue Mission to ensure safe distances for clients and enhanced laundry and food preparation areas to ensure clean and sanitary operations. At the public hearing, the proposed projects will be explained, including the purpose and proposed area of the project, activities, application process, and estimated budget. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to express their opinions regarding this proposed project.
