Roads: The Roads Department has been busy paving some of Four Mile Road near Margaret Leary school. They also paved a walking trail for the kids on the North side of the road by Margret Leary School for their safety and will be paving some areas to the south of Four Mile Road as well as the area around McKinley, Clay, Placer and Dakota Streets, where new water lines have been installed.

Water: The construction crew finished up the new line replacement in the McKinley area, all the lines in the area have been replaced. The crew moved to Sheridan Avenue to replace the line between Amherst and Floral.

The boring project on I-15 is moving along well. The bores are complete, and casings are in place. H&H continues fusing together the 36-inch pipe.

Metro: Crews are still replacing catch basins and readjusting manhole covers. The jetting and foaming tasks are still being done as summer comes to an end. Hoffman construction started the TSEP project for BSB last month. The first project was off Blacktail Lane heading up Rampart. The second phase will be off Excelsior heading east on Waukesha and north up Alabama to Zarelda and east to Clark. The replacement will also run west on Hornet into Excelsior. Traffic will be a challenge in this area for the next couple months.
