During the week of June 27, 2014, water crews installed 324 linear feet of 20”ductile iron pipe up to Holmes Avenue. Testing was conducted and the newly installed water main was coupled into the old main. Harrison Avenue is back on line serving Butte. Road crews have paved Harrison up to Garland and traffic has been opened up to this point. Next week the Road Division will finish off paving up to Holmes Avenue and reopen the Avenue to through traffic. Next week will be cleaning up the impacted areas along Harrison Avenue in preparations for the fourth of July Celebration. Sidewalks will be repaired providing bystander access.
Road crews are paving Alabama Street, prepping Wynne Avenue for paving, paving Harrison Avenue, patching pot holes, and crack sealing.
