Through July 18,2014, water crews have finished the lateral crossings at the intersections of Garland Avenue and Cleveland Avenue. Testing on both of these intersections were satisfactory. Paving concluded in this area.
Concrete work has been started on repairing the removed curb and gutters for both hydrants as well as a centerline median at Wendy’s.
Next week concrete work will continue with the completion of this particular median as well as repairing a section median in front of Lucky Me Casino, and sidewalk repair at this location.
Next week, water crews will start at McKinley Avenue installing new water main through this intersection. Water crews will also replace an existing fire hydrant assembly north of Roosevelt. Pavement is anticipated to be completed in these areas later in the week.
