[ARCHIVED] 2014 road and public works construction projects update

During the week of August 18, 2014 the Butte-Silver Bow Road Department will be roto-milling Granite Street between Arizona and Main Street.

There will be one way traffic during this time. The time span will be Tuesday, August 19 through Wednesday, August 20 for milling, and clean up will take place on Thursday, August 21.

The following week the Road Department will have the road blocked off Monday and Tuesday for paving if weather permits.

The construction hours will be from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Please no parking on the street between those hours.

On Harrison Avenue, crews will finish the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue with the exception of repairing the sidewalk around the fire hydrant at KFC. This will conclude the Harrison Avenue project until middle of September as the department waits on a machine to complete the project.

Crews have mobilized to Farragut Avenue to start working on the second and final phase of last year's project. They will be starting at Floral Boulevard and working north to Princeton Street. Next week crews are anticipating reaching Amherst Street
