[ARCHIVED] Teams needed for adult women’s volleyball league

The Butte-Silver Bow Parks and Recreation Department is accepting teams for the adult 2014 women’s volleyball season. The League runs from October 13 through December 15, 2014.

Registration costs are $75.00 per team with a maximum of 14 players per team. All participants must be at least 18 years old. The deadline to register is Wednesday, October 8.

Roster forms may be downloaded from the Butte-Silver Bow website at bsb.mt.gov on the Parks & Recreation page under the Services tab, or picked up at the Parks and Recreation Office at the Maintenance Center, 1700 Civic Center Road between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or at the Civic Center in the main office between the same hours.

An organizational and information meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 29 at 6:00 p.m. in the lobby at the Civic Center. Rosters with payment may be turned in at that time. All games will be played on Monday evenings at the Civic Center Annex or Emerson Elementary School.

Volleyball information will be posted on Butte-Silver Bow’s website on the Parks and Recreation page.

The adult volleyball league is an organized sports league open to the community. The emphasis is on participation and recreation. Get a team together and enjoy some fun. For more information contact E. Jay Ellington, Director of Parks and Recreation at 406-497-6571.

Adult co-ed volleyball will begin January 2015. Rosters and fees will be due January 7, 2015.
