[ARCHIVED] NRA finals next weekend in Butte Civic Center

The National Rodeo Association Finals will bring some of the best cowgirls and cowboys in the region to the Butte Civic Center Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 9-11.

The competitors spent the summer traveling thousands of miles across Montana, riding, roping and racing just to make to the finals. They have qualified to compete for money in eight events. The top 10 contestants will have three nights to add to their 2014 winnings. Those with the most money when the dust settles will be crowned year-end champs.

The rodeo gets underway at 7 p.m. each night, with doors opening at 6 p.m. Tickets are $30 reserved, $20 adult general admission, $13 for kids and $65 for three-day reserved. Tickets are available at the Civic Center, 1340 Harrison Ave., online at tickets.butteciviccenter.com or by calling 1-800-555-8989.

Besides the nightly performances, various other related events are scheduled.
