[ARCHIVED] Health department holds clinics for flu shots

The Butte-Silver Bow Health Department will hold ‘walk-in’ flu shot clinics at their offices at 25 West Front Street on Thursday, October 23 and Thursday, October 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Anyone from six months of age and up is welcome. If you have insurance that will pay for the flu shot, please make sure to bring your insurance card. You must have it readily available to be scanned for proper billing. There will be a form you must complete, so please allow yourself adequate time.

If an individual is handicapped or disabled and unable to get out of their vehicle at the office, please have them call ahead of time so arrangements can be made to have staff come to them in the parking lot. If an individual is homebound, they can call the Health Department at 406-497-5020 or 406-497-5086 to ask if a nurse can come to their home to administer the flu vaccine.

A clinic will also be held at the Butte-Silver Bow City-County Courthouse, 1st Floor Conference Room, on Tuesday, October 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Participants should again bring their insurance card and allow for time to fill out the required form.

For more info, call the Health Department at 406-497-5020.
