Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, is a holiday for most Butte-Silver Bow employees, and accordingly most public local government offices will be closed. Law Enforcement and the Fire Department will remain open, and Public Works Department crews will also be available for calls related to water, sewer and other emergency situations.
The Butte Bus will also be running on its regular scheduled on standard routes so that citizens can easily access the polls at the Civic Center.
With the closure of most government offices for Election Day, it is an important reminder for citizens who have not already done so to get to the polls and vote.
Polling locations at the Butte Civic Center and Ramsay School are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The polls at Rocker, Divide and Melrose will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
