Snowmobile fun run Saturday

WISE RIVER -- The Jackpine Savages Snowmobile Club of Wise River hosts a family fun run Saturday, Jan. 10, starting from the Community Center.

Sign up runs 9 to 11 a.m. Featured are poker hands, 50-50 and raffle for a six nights in a cabin at Fish Trap.

Proceeds go to the club’s groomer fund. A chili feed with corn bread, salad and desserts is planned.

Musicians’ club sign-up Thursday

The Young Musician's Club 2015 spring session starts Jan. 12-13. Classes run after school Monday-Tuesday.

Registration at the East Middle School stage is 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 8, and 3:30-5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12. Use the southwest entrance in the back of the building.

Students entering fourth grade through adult are invited to participate with specialized instructors. The club offers beginning, intermediate, and advanced instruction for: violin viola and cello, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, low brass (trombone and baritone), percussion (drums)(drum set), guitar and choir.

Fees are $60, but full or partial need-based scholarships are available
