Kama Rae Cotton-Jensen, 13, of Butte has been chosen to audition for “America’s Got Talent” Tuesday, Feb. 10, in Boise, Idaho.
Daughter of Amy Cotton-Muccie and Philip Yasenak, Kama sent in three videos last July to “America’s Got Talent” and was notified in October that she was picked to audition, her mother said.
For her audition, she will sing an Anna Kendrick tune, “When I Am Gone.” In the meantime, she is working with Heather Lingle for voice instruction.
Kama is in the eighth grade, is the oldest of four children, and has loved singing since she was really little, her mom said.
