The owner of a newly created 1,480-pound bronze sculpture of Evel Knievel won’t say how much he’d sell it for, though he’d like it to find a home in Butte.
Bill Rundle told The Montana Standard on Monday that the purchase price is confidential.
Still, Rundle said he's willing to negotiate with the city.
"If (Butte-Silver Bow) showed interest and several of us got together, absolutely, I’d drop everything I’m doing. It's more important for me to see it here," the Butte native said Monday.
But the clock may be ticking on that window of possibility.
Rundle said he's heard from a European investor, an art investment company and Harley Davidson. All three have expressed interest in the sculpture.
