Big Brothers Big Sisters Going Green Gala is Friday, March 6, in the Front Street Station, 800 E. Front St. Doors open at 6 p.m.
This annual fundraiser invites local businesses, companies, and people donors to join with Big Brothers Big Sisters to invest in youth.
Requested levels of giving are Magic Maker $150, Circle of Friends $250, Visionary Leader $500, Circle of Significance $1,000, Match Maker $2,500, Dream Maker and Corporate Dream Maker $5,000. Donors of $150 receive tickets for two to the gala, over the $250 level are entitled to two tickets to an exclusive dinner as well as the gala.
Regular tickets are $75 per person; 50/50 tickets also will be available. The winner is drawn at the gala but need not be present to win. The event consists of complimentary beer, wine and nonalcoholic beverages, hor d’oeuvres, and live and silent auctions.

The organization has 25 children ready to be matched. Volunteers are asked to spend one to two hours a week being a friend, spending time with, and making a difference in a child’s life.
Arts foundation fundraiser is Saturday
The Butte-Silver Bow Arts Foundation hosts its 18th annual fundraiser and silent auction to be held 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday, March 7, at the Masonic Temple, 314 W. Park St. Use the Galena St. entrance.
The evening features drinks and hors d’oeuvres, music and dancing, and silent auction items.
Music is by the The Red Mountain Band and Out of the Woods
The auction is the foundation’s largest fundraising event of the year, with proceeds going to bring art, culture, history and education to Butte.
