BUTTE – The Butte-Silver Bow Parks and Recreation Department has released a public survey to gauge the public’s opinion concerning the proposed aquatic facility at Stodden Park.
The brief online survey, which will take county residents less than five minutes to complete, is designed to encourage public participation to reach a final design for the aquatic facility that serves the needs of the community.
“Civic engagement assists public agencies with planning quality of life facilities that the residents and visitors desire,” said Jay Ellington, Parks and Recreation Director. “We hope the residents of Butte will assist us develop an appraisal of the options we’ve presented and construct some priorities for the Chief Executive and commissioners to consider.”
The survey will be available for about a month online, and will soon be made available at various locations around town for people who don’t have access to the Internet. Access the online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/C59HV2Z.
A slideshow of the proposed options is available on the Parks and Recreation page of the Butte-Silver Bow website. Visit http://co.silverbow.mt.us/192/Parks-Recreation to view the slideshow.
