The Rocky Horror Derby Show, a roller derby double-header, will begin at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Butte Civic Center.
Doors open at 5. Kicking off the evening, theGirlz WFTDA Charter Team, Mountain Mayhem, will be taking on A’ Salt Creek Roller Girls from Casper, Wyo. Immediately following this bout, the Girlz B-Squad, the BoZone Brawlers, will face Butte’s own Copper City Queens in their home roller derby bout debut.
Bust out your sequins, fishnets, carnival costumes and ghoulish attire, because the event features a costume contest with prizes for best dressed.
This family-friendly event features food by the Civic Center concessions, a no-host bar by Metals Sports Bar & Grill, raffles, games and prizes. Half-time entertainment will be the Anaconda Ancient Order of Hibernians bagpipers.
