Duggan Dolan Mortuary and Butte Community Celebrations will be holding their annual Duggan Dolan Blarney Stone Fun Run on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Knights of Columbus. The fun run consists of three categories: Kids Race (ages 3 – 13 beginning at 2:00 pm), Adult 3 mile run (ages 14 – 60+ beginning at 2:30 pm) and Walkers (ages 14 – 60+ beginning at 2:30 pm).
Registration will begin at Noon, the cost is $5.00 for an individual, $15 for a family up to five members and $1.00 for each individual thereafter, with each participant receiving a event t-shirt
The Kids Race will begin at the Knights of Columbus on the corner of Park & Idaho, going South on Idaho St. to Gold St., then West on Gold to Jackson St., North to Mercury St., East to Idaho, and North on Idaho ending at the Knights of Columbus.
The Adult 3 mile Race will begin at the Knights of Columbus, South on Idaho to Galena St, East on Galena one block to Montana St., South on Montana to Front Street, then East on Front to Utah, North on Utah to Galena St., West on Galena St. and North on Idaho ending at the Knights of Columbus.
The Walkers' Race begins at the Knights of Columbus heading East on Park St. to Corvert St. (Helsinki Bar), then West on Broadway to Idaho and South on Idaho returning to the Knights of Columbus on the corner of Park & Idaho.
Refreshments including corned beef sandwiches, hot dogs and chips will be sold after the race. There will be free coffee, soda and water are available.
Butte Central High School Pep Band will be performing.
