BUTTE – Butte-Silver Bow Animals Services Department would like to remind attendees at the 2015 Montana Folk Festival to keep pets healthy and leave them at home, the hotel, or a local pet boarding business.
The Montana Folk Festival is one of Butte’s showcase events – for people. A combination of hot weather and bustling crowds make the event very stressful and unsafe for pets, and it is best for your pet and for the festival to leave pets in a safe, cool location with food and water. Do not leave pets in vehicles, particularly in the July heat; It is hazardous to their health.
