This morning the Bert Mooney airport was there scene of an simulated airport incident exercise. Participants included: Bert Mooney Airport staff, BSB Fire, BSB Police, Montana Highway Patrol, BSB Volunteer Fire, St. Jame's Healthcare, A-1 Ambulance, Montana Department of Health and Human Services, BSB Emergency Operations Center Staff, 9-1-1 Operators, 15-19 Search and Rescue and more. It was a fantastic show of what our first responders and community partners can achieve when coordinating, training and working together. As it was a training exercise to determine full capabilities and flaws, it was also a worthwhile opportunity to ascertain what improvements can be implemented. Butte-Silver Bow would like to thank everyone who participated, helping to make our community a safe place to live and raise a family.
