The Butte-Silver Bow Public Works Department, Road Division has made piles of sand/salt available for residents free of charge. The sand piles are for the use of individual homeowners and not for contractors. The sand piles can be found at the following locations:
Skyline Park by the Hillcrest School;
The entrance of the “Alley Rally” on Civic Center Road; and
At the recycling bins on the corner of Platinum and Excelsior Streets.
Residents are responsible for loading and dumping their desired sand themselves. We ask residents to please limit themselves to five gallons per trip, don’t forget to bring your shovel.
