Chief Executive Matt Vincent and his Economic Development team are holding a public meeting on the potential of a new Targeted Economic Development District for the Industrial Park area on south Harrison Avenue. The meeting will cover the potential benefits of a TEDD, the boundaries, explanation on what a TEDD is, and the potential impacts it will have on current and future businesses in Butte. “We are looking for every opportunity to continue growing the economy and increase the number of high paying jobs in Butte-Silver Bow,” said Vincent, “a TEDD is a meaningful way to support existing company’s growth and a method for attracting new business.” Area property owners and the public are encouraged to attend and provide feedback.
