Butte-Silver Bow Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce Mark Fisher as the new Golf Pro and Clubhouse Manager for Highland View Golf Course. Mark is a Butte native who graduated from Butte High School, and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Health and Sciences from Montana Tech in 2003. In 2004, Mark became a certified Golf Instructor under the United States Golf Teaching Federation. For the previous 13 years, Mark has been the Director of Golf Operations for Fairmont Golf Course. Mark’s previous employment and continuing education has given him not only a passion for teaching the sport but a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of running a successful golf course and clubhouse. Mark began his tenure at Highland View on Tuesday, March 29.
