[ARCHIVED] Alley Rally to Open May 18

Butte-Silver Bow is pleased to announce the Alley Rally will open on Wednesday, May 18 and remain open throughout the summer. The hours of operation are 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on the weekends. As in previous years, the Alley Rally will be located behind the Butte Civic Center on Civic Center Road. “The Alley Rally is an important and unique service to Butte, by continuing to provide citizens with easy access to services like these, we are continuing to support investing in our community,” said Chief Executive Matt Vincent.

The Alley Rally will accepts household waste, residential yard clippings (no stumps or large branches) and recyclables (paper, plastics #1 and #2, cardboard, metals, but no glass). Construction materials, home appliances, tires, paints, oils, batteries and waste generated by businesses will not be accepted. The Ally Rally is a short-term supplemental service that cannot receive the variety of materials the landfill can. Because of this, residents are encouraged to use the landfill for items not accepted at the Alley Rally. Residents using the Alley Rally should keep any solid waste in a bag or container that can be lifted by hand. The Alley Rally is a free service for Butte-Silver Bow residents.
