[ARCHIVED] 3rd Annual Walk-a-Dog Program Seeks Volunteers

Butte Silver-Bow Animal Services is seeking volunteers for the 3rd Annual Summer Walk-a-Dog Program. We are looking for volunteers who want to get outside and enjoy the summer with a new four-legged friend. The program begins on May 21 and will continue for as long into autumn as weather permits. The program will run seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. through 11 a.m. daily. Interacting with animals, particularly dogs, has been proven to reduces stress and increases overall emotional wellbeing. You will also get the joy of not only helping an important community organization, but also enriching the lives of shelter dogs and your own. The Summer Walk-a-Dog Program welcomes members of the community of all ages, however if you are under 18 you must accompanied by parent or guardian.

If you would like to participate or have questions, please call Lynette at the Chelsea Bailey Butte-Silver Bow Animal Shelter at (406) 497-6528 or stop by and see us (699 Centennial Avenue) between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
