[ARCHIVED] Kids’ in the Parks Program

The Butte-Silver Bow Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce the highly successful “Kids’ in the Park” summer program will be returning this month, beginning June 22. Throughout the summer, Parks and Recreation staff will be at a different Butte-Silver Bow parks to oversee activities and outside fun for our community’s youth. Arts and crafts, games, sports, and various children’s events will be happening at every session. “Having free, fun, and safe summer activities for our kids to do outside in our wonderful park system is a no brainer”, said Parks and Recreation Special Events Coordinator Bob Lazzari, “pry your kids away from the screens and send them outside!” The Kids’ in the Park program is for kids aged seven to twelve, and will run from 10:00 a.m. to noon on the following days and locations:
• June 22 - Clark Park;
• June 23 - Stodden Park;
• June 24 - Skyline Park;
• June 28 - Father Sheehan Park;
• June 29 - Koprvica Park;
• June 30 - Chester Steele Park;
• July 12 - Clark Park;
• July 13 - Stodden Park;
• July 14 - Charlie Judd Park;
• July 26 - Father Sheehan Park;
• July 27 - Koprvica Park;
• July 28 - Chester Steele Park;
• August 2 - Clark Park;
• August 3 - Stodden Park;
• August 4 - Charlie Judd Park;
• August 9 - Father Sheehan Park;
• August 10 - Koprvica Park; and
• August 11 - Chester Steele Park.
